SWLL coaches have been working to set up several off-season opportunities for SWLL players, and to hopefully recruit more SWLL players for the Spring season.
Some of the pieces are still taking shape, and some are ready to roll out and get on your calendars!
1) SWLL Fall Saturday Clinics! (Location: Chief Sealth Upper Field - Turf!)
*Sat 9/30: *Majors players: 9:30-11:30am & *Minors players: 11:30am-1:30pm
*Sat 10/7: *Majors players: 9:30-11:30am & *Minors players: 11:30am-1:30pm
*Sat 10/14: (this clinic will include mixed-division activities)
*Majors players: 9:30-11:30am & - *Minors players: 10:00am-12:00pm
*What is this?
Clinics will include infield/outfield drills, scrimmaging, hitting practice, friendly competitions, and more. A great chance to keep the gloves warm, get in some extra batting practice, and continue to grow the SWLL community
*Who may attend?
This is open to any softball players or wannabe softball players who live in OR goes to school in SWLL boundaries. 2023 players should definitely attend, and please invite other friends or siblings who might also be interested in softball and considering playing in 2024! We'd love to grow the league to 2 teams per division in the Spring season, so please do spread the word*** If you have a question about the boundaries or eligibility, please reach out
*What division should players attend?
Majors players = 2011 & 2012 birthdays
Minors players = 2013 birthdays and younger
(*Please attend the session for the correct division. These are the birth years that will encompass divisions for the 2024 season. Please reach out if you have questions!)
*How much does it cost?
Nothing! SWLL is sponsoring these 3 clinics. Free for players!
*Is it okay to attend 1 or 2 of the clinics, and not all 3?
Yes! We'd love to see players attend all 3 weeks, but it is not required. We want to encourage as much participation as possible, so please have your player come to any of these that work with your family's schedule
*Do players need to RSVP and/or register?
Any players who DID NOT play softball with SWLL in the spring 2023 season will need to complete the registration forms. Players who did participate in spring softball should RSVP directly to Melissa at this email address:
